A Mexican griddle "comal" is a simple cooking plate or griddle made of raw cast iron, steel or clay. Rustic cast iron cookware is one of the traditional secrets to making great, authentic Mexican food. All of our griddles and fajita skillets are traditionally styled, heavy duty, and made with old fashioned quality. They do not contain potentially toxic teflon or other non-stick treatments. Essential for authentic Mexican cooking. Preparation and seasoning required prior to use.
