By removing the masa hopper and forming pin, the tortilla machine can be used to spread masa on corn shucks for making fresh tamales. Not for making flour tortillas or chapati (see Electric Flour Tortilla Maker).

The tortilla machine includes standard 5-1/2" diameter tortilla forming pin. Additional forming pins are available for making tortillas from 3-3/8" to 6" in diameter. Includes instructions (in both Spanish and English), manufacturer's warranty card, set of 2 replacement stripping wires, and optional mounting screws.
With a little practice you will find this machine fun and easy to use. It is best used for making larger batches of corn tortillas. The machine may require some initial adjustment to operate efficiently. It is important to use high quality, smooth, non-sticky, well kneaded corn masa for efficient operation. *Note: You should be comfortable using simple hand tools such as a screwdriver and pliers in order to replace the stripping wires if necessary.
